The first history podcast I ever discovered, and still one of the best. The Norman conquests in the Mediterranean were huge events that impacted much of history, yet rarely get taught or discussed. This podcast covers that intensely entertaining and fascinating period. It's a polished but straightforward production, easy to listen to. Great both for the scholar and the beginning history buff.

I've just discovered this podcast after all the episodes had been released. It was a truly excellent listen, full of fantastic tales of true events.
I've seen some people complain about the time it took for new episodes to be released, but coming late to the party I have no such complaints.
I'll be subscribing to all of Lars' other podcasts!
