Hello from a longtime, dedicated listener of all the Laime-Rosen podcasts! I’ve been on board since around 2012 and have listened to every episode of every show you’ve released (which feels kind of wild to admit). Totally Mommy helped me navigate my first pregnancy and early motherhood, Elizabeth gave me guidance and support on going vegetarian through a question I submitted to Totally Married, and I discovered so many great artists and entertainers over the years through Totally Laime! and TBASH (GFY!). I’m thrilled to have you both back in my life after your hiatus and have been loving the new shows!

I wanted to share something sweet and personal that would surely prompt Andy and Josh to stop me and say “that’s a different show,” but this does feel like the appropriate place to share. The first episode of Nobody’s News dropped the same day my third son was born—February 3rd. Your daily episodes made those middle-of-the-night pumping sessions (dare I say?) enjoyable and something I looked forward to. Now that my baby is over four months old and I’m chasing three little boys around, podcast time is limited—but Nobody’s News truly felt like a personal gift that got me through the fourth trimester.

Andy, I’m so sorry to hear about your dad’s health. The segments with your parents always reminded me of a similar bit on Somebody Feed Phil—the absolute heart of that show. I hope to have a close relationship with my sons someday the way you do with your parents.

Anyone can listen to happy-all-the-time pods, but we’re here for all of it, and hearing y’all coming out the other side together is a genuine demonstration of partnership.
