This may sound like an odd thing to praise, but I greatly appreciate the straight-forward subscription cancellation process. I do enjoy the short free podcasts, in particular the way to kill two birds with one stone (news and brush up on my Italian). I subscribed to the fuller offering, and through no fault of my own wasn't using it. Like many I have more subscriptions than I can use and find the process of cancelling usually makes me never want to subscribe to anything again. This cancellation was two simple clicks, and for that I am grateful enough that I am here writing a positive review. It is a demonstration of honesty in the product in my view. I did not give five stars only because I can find it a bit dry, and the free podcast is indeed short, but it's news, and it's a way to learn words you may not come across on your vacation to Italy. So I recommend both the free and paid subscription, and best of all, you can cancel easily if you do choose!

What a fabulous website for someone learning Italian who has a reasonable understanding of the language! It is not for someone just beginning. But there is nothing like it that I have found that is as helpful as this is. It is so well done. It is clear, entertaining and interesting. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is a fabulous resource! As someone else said, it's definitely not for beginners, but once you have a grasp of the language, it's been incredibly helpful for me in improving my comprehension, which is something I've always struggled with since Italians speak so fast. Though it's a little sad how often I still get lost and have to rewind despite this being in "slow Italian" haha. Practice makes perfect though, as they say, and I already see signs of improvement. Grazie mille Piatrice e Alberto!

I really like this podcast a lot and it is definitely helping me learn Italian. The content is interesting and engaging. The news is presented in a balanced manner with different speakers often taking opposing views. Really the only issue I have with this podcast is that if you download the app and subscribe to get the full content, you can’t practise offline. I would think that’s an easy feature to add, and then I could use this program when out of range, say on a flight or when wifi is iffy.
