History with a relevant narrative plot…great acting and audio design…compelling and absorbing with me on the edge of my seat despite knowing the general outline of the story.

I’m so happy to have discovered that BBC is so excellent at the podcast business.

Lots of interesting information but too much dramatisation. A regular podcast without so much fanfare would have been better.

Very good show. Educational but keeps you interested. A little hard to follow at times but even with that I still love it.

Correct amount dramatization. Love most of the actors.

Maybe moves a little too fast sometimes though.

Can be hard to keep track of what characters are speaking or in the scene.

I liked the story idea very much, but I believe it failed in its execution. The scenes that were chosen could have been more relevant and at times were over acted. I truly wanted to like this, anything that tries to bring history to life should be pursued, but I just believe this missed the mark.

Too much dramatization. It's extremely jarring when listening. Would have been much better as a regular podcast with one host/narrator.
