The stories on this podcast—particularly those involving a narcissistic mother—have validated my experiences with narcissistic abuse to such a degree that a mere mention does not seem worthy. I have a great deal of gratitude for your work, Brandon. I am nearly 50 years old, with 25 years of talk therapy under my belt, and nothing has contributed to my enlightenment quite like your podcast. Such is the insidiousness of narcissistic abuse, right? ;) I found the story shared by the Black Autistic Polymath to be a particular stand-out. Their perspective on how they have processed their experiences resonates deeply with me; making me cry in spite of my hardness and numbness. Even though my cultural touch points are different, I feel like the BAP and I are riding the same wave length. This connection means the world to me. A special shout out to the BAP for describing the profound fatigue that comes with being not neurotypical, as well as the depth of commitment made when a person with autism says they are going to do something. Thank you, Brandon, for including people with neurodivergence in your conversation. Thank you to the Black Autistic Polymath for sharing your story.

I just found this show, long time listener of other podcasts on narcissism, and survivor of a narcissistic relationship. The world we live in can be a difficult place, life’s troubles can take us to the brink of devistation. Narcissists, and their secretive and abusive nature, compound these issues and spark misery where there was none before, entrapping their victims in a maddening broken world or leaving them emotionally destroyed and utterly alone. Surviving narcissism and healing is so difficult and many may not achieve it fully. This podcast shines a light on the reality of emotional abuse narccisists effortlessly engage in, and allows victims the chance to share their stories on a platform where they feel heard, help others through hearing these stories and break down the traits and tactics of narcissistic individuals. This is a valuable podcast. I highly recommended it.

Earlier episodes showed more construction of the narratives by the host. Lately, they’ve been rambling and hard to follow. People recovering from trauma often have difficulty recounting events in a way that’s easy to follow. Using more of an interview style would really benefit this podcast.

The stories are interesting and must be cathartic for the tellers - but, I find many of them difficult to get through because of the static and low quality audio. I appreciate all the work that must go into every single episodes - however, I’d rather have less stories and better audio. I just started an episode from September and was about 2 minutes in when I had to just switch to another podcast because the static was so distracting. Thank you.
