as a US historian and lover of podcasts, this series is admittedly right up my alley. pay no mind to the dog whistle reviews that suggest there is excessive discussions of race. if anything, the series goes light on it, diminishing meyer’s white privilege. nonetheless, the series is compelling storytelling built on archival evidence, interesting interviews, and an engaging narrator.

Amazing! Beautifuly curated w/excellent narration by Soledad. Can’t wait to hear how it ends!

Well researched, original. New angle. Soledad O’Brien is a real pro. Excellent voice. Almost as good as her JFK podcast with Rob Reiner.

Soledad O’Brian is a great storyteller and really keeps things moving. Her topics are well researched and offer facts I never knew about JFK. Two thumbs up on the topic and the storytelling! The only confusion is I don’t know how many episodes are in the season. I thought episode 5 was the conclusion…no dates on the shows so that part is hard to follow. Had I known the season was incomplete I would have waited to start because I like to binge the whole season when something is really good.
