In a word, fantastic.
This is a wonderful podcast, and a fine piece of journalism. I am a mountain biker, and a very beginning snowboarder, but I have absolutely no connection to the Sierra or the Great Basin areas. Nevertheless, this podcast proves to be entertaining, insightful, wise, and entertaining in each and every episode.
It also is a wonderful education, not only for these geographic areas, but also for the backcountry in general. It also is a wonderful education for the sports of skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, E-mountain biking, snowmobiling, and just being a good person.
Keep up the good work. Bravo!

I have had a handful of chances to ride and crack a post-ride beverage with Kurt. Some of my favorite rides in Downieville include chatting with Kurt on the climbs. He has so many great stories about the history of the Lost Sierra and the old-timers that live/lived up there. This podcast is the next best thing to hanging out with him in person.
Thanks, Tom and Kurt, for the great podcast!

Mind the Track has become one of my favorite podcasts. Funny, informative, thoughtful and hip for a couple old guys, Mind the Track is DOPE for anyone who enjoys seeking out pow (be it cold smoky or brown) on the track less travelled.
