Great show. I have never met Judd or Phil, but I feel as if they are my good friends. I’ve listened to this show in various forms for years while living in various cities outside of the state for work. As an introvert who also loves MN sports, I could count on these guys to make me feel as if I was at home hanging out with my friends and talking sports. 7 years later I’m still a fan and love the content. Everything from Write That Down to the Scoops with Doogie…I’ll be a listener for life. Really glad to see the success the SKOR platform has has shifting from traditional radio. Keep up the great work. Thank you for being a consistent source of humor, content, and of course hot takes. Hope to meet you all in person one day.

It’s a good listen they are not afraid to call out the local sports teams and players. They have fun takes with their reckless speculation and action movie rewind. The only negative I have is their constant need to bring in their political views.

Real sports talk. With a strong dose of fun. These guys hold the teams accountable. But still have fun. Love it.

My actual rating would be 4.9, but don’t want start with this show’s single shortcoming, because these guys are great. There’s no pretense and the hosts have found a way to seamlessly blend a consistent combination of honestly, humor, factual journalism and valid analysis. They drop episodes daily — and sometimes things can get a little heavy-handed with the sponsors and often feel awkwardly shoe-horned into the flow of the discussion — the subject matter never seems contrived. The regular segments are a great change-of-pace and each host brings something different to the table and possesses a unique strength and specialty. My only major issue is their affiliation with Doogie. He’s frequent guest, and even putting aside his strange on-air deliver, one only needs to browse his Twitter feed or Google his name on the World Wide Web to recognize why he’s probably not the best choice when attempting to build a decent report within the fan base. Regardless, I recommend Skor North to anyone looking for a show with a hyper-local, smart and distinctive format.
