I started listening to this podcast last year right before I sustained a rib fracture injury while on the job as a behavioral health nurse. With Corinne’s help, I was able to stay focused on my health and fitness goals despite the injury. Also, I became aware of my emotional eating habits and the excuses I made to justify these behaviors that contributed to an extra 10 to 15 pounds of pandemic weight gain. I am now nearing my 50th birthday in the best condition of my life. Mostly because of the mindset shift I have been able to make with the help of Corinne. This year I plan on joining the tribe and look forward to working with her and her fantastic team of coaches. Thank you! This podcast is like gold to me! ~RC

Corrine gets her teachings across in a very understandable way. I have lost weight with WW, and they talk about emotional eating, but nothing they ever said got through to me emotionally or intellectually.
There are mornings I’m driving to work listening to the podcast and I’m sobbing because she hits me in the heart. I believe she is so right that we have to be asking ourselves the “good” questions in order to get the “good” answers.
I am getting so much out of her podcasts and I’m excited to do the Jumpstart course.
Thank you Corrine & Staff!

I have found Corrine’s ideas and lessons hit so close to home for me. The hopeless, destructive, and judgmental self-talk has to be addressed to be able to get out of our own way in weight loss and life, in general! Corrine has helped me start to gain control over not just my eating habits but also my overall mental health as it pertains to my family and career. I feel like a healthier me when I listen to Corrine. Thank you so much for helping me give myself the gifts of self-love and care.

I'm only 13 minutes into this episode and feel compelled to take a moment so I can thank you. Your words resonated because your advice was more than just about weight loss. I am so unbelievably hard on myself and I have a hard time celebrating small accomplishments. I'm always stuck on long terms goal. This episode simply hit home.

There are far better weight loss podcasts out there that take a more balanced approach and aren’t trying so hard to get you to follow their program and make money off you. I really wanted to like this one, but Corinne’s ego and “my way is the only way” attitude just became too much after listening to about a dozen episodes. I think it’s a huge disservice to people to say “if you don’t do x, then you’re not serious about losing weight.” I’ve lost far more weight than she has, and I can tell you that there are many ways to approach this, and they can all be successful.

There are also SO MANY contradictions. She’ll say things like “calorie counting isn’t sustainable. You’re not going to be doing that when you’re 80.” But then a few episodes later it’s “you MUST keep a food journal that includes every tiny detail of your food, how you’re feeling and what you did or you’re not serious about this.” So taking sixty seconds to log food into an app is unsustainable but keeping a detailed journal forever is… different. How? Because it’s “her” way.

She’ll also say “eat whatever you want and lose weight!” But then she’ll also talk about not eating flour or sugar. So I suppose it’s “eat whatever you want as long as what you want is vegetables with marinara sauce and dry chicken.”

I also think it’s cringy how hard she tries to be the “sassy southern woman (TM).” Girl, if you have to say how “honest” you are three times in different words in just the intro, you’re trying too hard. We get it.

At first I listened to Corinne and even joined her paid program in its earlier days. But as time has gone on she’s become too much. I have heard her be dismissive of actual mental health needs (that would require a licensed therapist) and it’s her way or considered wrong. She brags about how much money she’s made, but at times it feels like it’s at the expense of the middle class women who follow her in god-like fashion.
