I listen to all the major limited Mtg podcasts. While both LR and LOL have been incredibly helpful I think I have to give a lot of credit to Alex (host of this podcast) for my progress. There’s something about the way he describes the process of drafting, building decks and each specific format that clicks with the way I think about MTG. I was once throwing my gems away on Arena and trudging through every draft. What little success I had was mostly credited to my halfway decent game play from playing countless hours of constructed. After applying Alex’s knowledge I feel like my decks are coming together and my Arena bank account is staying full as I rise up the ranks! The format has opened up to me and I find myself appreciating and enjoying limited more and more. This podcast is a must listen for anyone who wants to improve at limited! Thank you Alex!

I love the focus on getting better generally rather than format specific detials, but also the podcasters' recognition that sometimes improving means really getting into the weeds of a format or a deck. We're all looking to accrue small edges, and this podcast delivers them consistently!

Possibly the best podcast for if you’re looking to get better at MTG limited. Since the host is usually just talking by himself, the entertainment value is a bit lower, but he has some of the best analysis and in-depth guides than any of the MTG podcasts. So, if you want to improve your limited game, this is #1.

I listen to a lot of limited podcasts - LR, Lords of Limited, Art of Draft, Drafting Archetypes, Limited Edition, and others that have come and gone - and this is the best one for getting better at limited Magic. Super useful information with a minimum of hot takes and contrarianism, presented in an easy to learn format.
