I never comment but I had to today.. this was my first time to ever listen to your show and I know it was God sent!
My story is so much like Kaitlyns…while in a foster home a church bus picked me up regularly and I remember falling in love with Jesus singing oh how I love Jesus around age 4.. that kept me through years of abuse and partying.. looking for love in all the wrong places
After trauma bonding with my husband we married and we’re blessed with 11 children through the years of a very rocky marriage
I kept searching for truth in and out of churches.. dragging my children with me.. Jesus never stopped pulling me
Never stopped singing to me.. even in my sleep
25 years ago the Lord took me to an apostolic church and I was filled with the Holy Ghost and through the years have watched my children be filled as well !❤️(2 more to go!) also my second son has pastored a home missions apostolic church for the past 4 and a half years 🤗 who but God!!!..
But what put me in tears during this podcast were the words 25 years of praying.. because that was the 3rd time I have heard that in the past 2 weeks .. My pastor told me a story of a lady getting the Holy Ghost after running from God for 25 years after many had kept praying those 25 years
Then a visiting preacher came to our church and told of his relatives coming to God after 25 years of him praying for them.. and I have been fervently praying for my husband to come to God for 25 years.. and I believe this is the year! God is faithful kind and ever merciful!! Thank you for this story.. it just makes me love Jesus more.. knowing He’s still pulling children out of terrible situations like I lived in and so many more!
He is the God of miracles!!

This podcast has blessed me in so many ways. I am a pastor’s wife with two children and I come from a large PK family. I cannot explain how much I appreciate the sincerity and the realness I hear. I’ve listened to four so far. I wish I could meet some of you and just say “hey” or “praise the Lord”. I am all the way in CT, though my family is from Virginia. I’m listening to the recent podcast, keep coming back with Kristen Rowland an I just wanted to encourage this young single mom. I also had a baby out of wedlock and made the decision to live for God. It was not easy but I can tell you that my son is now 23 and he loves God. He is very involved and has mentioned many times during testimonies that my faithfulness and love for the house of God is what led him to Jesus. Keep going, it’s so very worth it and God is so faithful 💕
