Love this podcast! Been a longtime reader of Hunter’s writing and fan of Peyton’s work way back to Paper, and they are just as funny on this podcast as they are in their writing. Look forward to this every week for my Wednesday morning park walk - truly feels like you’re catching up on the latest pop culture news with your two funniest friends

i love these two so much and this has quickly become one of my all time favorite pop culture podcasts BUT i can’t help but notice how these episodes seem to consistently be a full news cycle behind the other pop culture podcasts i listen to every week. my best guess is that the show gets recorded at the end of the week, so by the time the wednesday release comes around the following week all the topics feel like old news since there seems to be about five days between when an episode is recorded and when it’s released.
hunter and peyton are brilliant and hilarious pop culture commentators and it feels like it’s really doing them a disservice that i’m hearing their takes on current events basically a full week after i’ve already heard everyone else’s. this show is fantastic but being current is so important when it comes to the topics they cover so wondery i am BEGGING you to be quicker on the turnaround here!!

I’m a huge fan of Hunter and a longtime Hung Up subscriber, but this podcast is all wrong and getting worse, not better. The guests feel extraneous, and the tone is really off. In this format, Hunter and Peyton really seem to put themselves and their opinions on a pedestal, and it comes across very condescending. This all feels very thrown together, and the worst part is that prioritizing this seems to have made Hunter’s newsletter an afterthought for the time being.
