Mark Malkoff's knowledge of Saturday Niight Live history, broadcast AND initial 2-hour dress rehearsal version both, because he apparently spent the first half of his life largely on the standby lines for both versions, is staggering. He can discuss the minutiae of late-night TV history with an unparalleled command of the facts.
On freevee Carson Show broadcasts, excerpts from Mark's Carson Podcast episodes now appear between some segments--he's become the official chronicler!

When Mark’s Carson Podcast ended, it was like moving away from a beloved friend. Honestly, The Carson Podcast was a subject of or jumping off point for discussion of Carson’s legacy. Great guests from workers & secretaries to celebrity guests & guest hosts peppered the episodes. This was the podcast we looked forward to the most. When it ended, we were saddened & listened & to favorite old episodes.
Now, there is again something to look forward to. Thanks Mark!
