Brilliant podcast. Characters are brought to life and we get not only the fascination Of the crime itself but also the history of women, their classes and their lack of freedom and the choices that they simply have to make for whatever their reason. Lucy and guests are top notch as well.

No surprises-this podcast is just as informative and addictive as everything else Lucy Worsley touches. I’m only upset there aren’t more because I flew through all episodes. She included a diverse set of expert guests to weigh in on each and provides unique details and considerations for each lady killer and the time she lived. If you are interested in criminology and/or mental health, this is for you! Maybe add an Australian episode?

I have high expectations for anything that Lucy Worsley puts out, she’s absolutely fantastic. Love the presentation style and their perspectives. The only thing that holds me back from actually loving the show is that it’s called Lady Killers and they focus more on swindlers or other female criminals.

I mean feminist revision in a very positive way. In the first episode ‘Florence Bravo’, cross examination focuses on the accused’s ‘sexual promiscuity’. The legal expert notes that there are laws, in the United Kingdom, preventing this line of questioning. Horrifically, no such law exists in the United States. Abuse and rape victims are often revictimized in in this way during cross examination. I look forward to future episodes.
