Regrettably this show has run its course, but for those who have not experienced it, the episodes linger on. Two late night disc jockeys deal with assorted weirdness in their town while on the air, as well as their own demons (trash bandits for instance, are a source of horror not previously attributed to raccoons) This was one of the first fiction podcasts I listened to and it’s still one of my favorites. Wonderful characters facing some pretty original scenarios make this one of the best of this type of genre. Funny, scary and always original, it’s truly binge worthy.

This show does so well at striking a balance between playful campiness, good storytelling, culturally relevant commentary and when it decides to, some genuinely spooky storytelling. More fun than scary and just a great fun trip. Give it a try.

I love immersive fiction and am enjoying the show so far, but it has a potentially fatal flaw: the sound engineering. Obviously the voices of the callers and the DJs are supposed to sound different, but the mix is awful.
If I have my headphones at the right volume for the DJs then I can’t hear what the callers are saying, and when I turn it up for the callers, I’m blasted when the DJs come back on - particularly Ben.
Back to the mixing studio, please! I want to keep listening, but I’m not sure if I can.

By far one of my favorite podcasts. A fair warning: it ends without resolution. It's worth the listen if you can handle that.
