Dr. Jami Dulaney walks her talk, actually runs her talk, weight lifts her talk, mobilizes and stretches her talk. She teaches you can’t outrun your mouth and she’s living proof one doesn’t have to if one eats a nutritional regime that’s whole foods plant based. She is my fave of all the medical doctors because not only is she an excellent clinician but she knows the science of the nutrition of a wfpb diet and she understands training and exercise. I have attended her Zoom nutrition/cooking/lecture classes as well as her Zoom nutrition conferences which also feature the amazing wfpb RD, Addie Dulaney Majnaric. They make a great team. Dr. Dulaney’s podcast is eclectic in that she covers topics including food, exercise, her personal running experience including her participation in many endurance events, her love of her family and animals, really interesting interviews always founded in different health topics, etc. She’s not the run of the mill doctor who hands one a ‘script, unless the word on the ‘script is lifestyle. You learn how to take care of yourself, to be a patient self-advocate instead of a pill popper. You learn how to be healthy and remain this way. She’s worth her weight in gold!

I have been a long time listener of Dr. Dulaney! Her podcast is always interesting and well organized. She often highlights recent studies and medical journal articles on health, nutrition or exercise . With a background in health care, I really enjoy her perspective of modern medicine- the need to evaluate the whole person, and weigh out lifestyle changes for health improvements! The plant based podcast theme is mixed with her love for endurance races of all kind, it is fun hearing about her recent and up coming events. After listening you will be encouraged and motivated! I often end up listening to her weekly podcast while on a run :)

It’s great to that Dr. Dulaney shares so freely. Thank you, Doc. I’m a 63 year old endurance athlete. Ten years ago I was at death’s doorstep. i was obese and unhealthy. Now I am at my college cross country (NCAA Div 1) weight. Changing diet was the hardest and I finally wrapped my head around that a few months ago. I am now WFPB forevermore! It’s amazing to be where I am after where I was. I have a good 30 years of active life ahead of me. i am pharma free, a fact my local pill doc could not wrap her head around since everybody here suffers from at least one chronic disease if they’re still alive at my age. I fired her. Now I have a holistic, nutrition-driven doc. It costs more, but it has real value. So does this podcast, and it costs nothing at all. Thanks again, Dr. Dulaney.
