I’m so glad to have this podcast to introduce me to authors I may never have discovered on my own. A pleasure to listen and escape into different touching, thought provoking stories. Wil is a superb narrator.

If you’re like me and you would listen to Wil Wheaton narrate the back of a cereal box, then this podcast is for you. He’s reading short stories that he’s clearly thoughtfully selected from interesting authors. I look forward to another season, which I hope will be sooner rather than later.

There’s something comforting about having someone read a story to you. If you loved LeVar Burton Reads—and if you didn’t listen to that, may I enthusiastically encourage you to check that out, too—then you’ll love “It’s Storytime with Wil Wheaton,” which is very capably carrying the torch for short science fiction with some fantastic story selections read by everyone’s favorite Traveler, Wesley Crusher—er, I mean Wil Wheaton. I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite, so do yourself a favor and just listen to them all.

Will Wheaton is an excellent narrator and he has really cultivated some great and unusual stories. I love how he is introducing me to new writers I have never heard of before. I have been missing Levar Burton reads, and Will has provided a wonderful spiritual successor that I can listen to while driving my 18 wheeler down the highway. I would love to hear Will team up with Levar for a story, I think that would be awesome.
