This is an excellent podcast. Thank you, America Magazine! This is the podcast I most look forward to hearing of all the podcasts I subscribe to—both secular and religious. Indeed, it is a breath of fresh air for me since it features dialogues that are frank and insightful, and it is not afraid to engage in often controversial issues in our Church today. It is encouraging to know that other members of the Catholic faithful have the same questions as I do and and who want to talk about them. Kathleen Dulle and Gerard O’Connell are wonderful together. This podcast is insightful, balanced, well-informed, and interesting. It’s made it to my shortlist of regular weekly listening. I’m grateful to finally have a place that I feel I can trust for information about current events in the Church.

What an antidote for the crazy infecting the airwaves these days. Not a whitewashing of the Church. Rather a thoughtful reflection of the issues Catholic leaders are presented with today and the teachings, scholarship, experience, doctrine, tradition, and — the personalities, realities, politics that may affect choices/ decisions. Just hearing the calm voices weighing the factors while allowing for the movement of the Holy Spirit gives me hope when I feel like despairing. And inspires me to action in my small world.

Great analysis of the news out of the Vatican. It’s a great supplement my spirituality development and feeling connected to the goings on in the Catholic Church, both negative and positive. Thank you for your ministry.
