The show is an nice blend of humor and banter with absolute deep dives into the backgrounds of the guests. The Salmon Dusters episode, for instance, felt like a 21st century jamgrass history lesson. Turner & Seth’s style leads to some unique dialogue, and the industry insider perspective is fascinating. Top notch stuff here, folks.

I enjoy that Turner and Seth get to the music quickly in each episode, and feature lots of it throughout. They don't waste time joking around and catching up on what they did since the last podcast at the start, which is common in many other shows with multiple hosts (my rule of thumb: if the subject matter isn't presented before I get out of the shower, then I typically never go back to that podcast). Plus, there's lots of great music, and both hosts have a great deal of knowledge of many kinds of music, and their research work on backstories and histories shines in this series.
