First off, I would just like to say that I love your podcast. To me, the content is extremely important to talk about especially in this day and age.
As I was listening to your most recent podcast, there were just a few points that I would like to comment on.
You were speaking on how the Bible was written by men, and how you didn’t understand that such a loving God would allow some of the brutal events taking place in that time. “ not your exact wording.”
but I would like to just touch on a few points.
I’ve had lots of people ask me “ well how do you know that God is real”? And they, too, bring up the point that the Bible was written by man.
Do they have a valid point? Yes. However, those men had the guidance of God to write what is written in the Bible. Also, when you speak of multiple wives, and such that was in the Old Testament. Which by the way, I don’t agree with. That said, we no longer live under the laws of the Old Testament. That was the whole point in Jesus coming here to die for our sins.
In my opinion, it is a blessing in and of itself, that we are no longer held accountable under those laws because as humans we sin. Just as you said, there is absolutely no way that we won’t sin in some type of way, big or small because of the simple fact that we are humans. However, sin is sin. That does not give us the excuse to sin. Jesus gave us the example when he went to the Judaean desert to fast for 40 days and 40 nights.
Lastly, my response to anyone asking me “ How do I know that God is real”… I just tell them that I would rather die, believing and having faith to find out that I was wrong instead of dying, not believing, and not having faith to find out that I was wrong.
Again, thank you for your podcast and the work that you do. 😊

Terrible audio quality can’t even listen to it, it’s either way too quiet or is incredibly abrasive to the point have to take headphones out. Can’t speak on the actual podcast itself cause was unable to listen. Please upgrade your microphone or get much better equipment.

Most recent episode spent about 15 minutes ranting on receiving bad reviews.. majority of the complaints are about the sound and that’s reasonable feedback for a podcast. Lots of excuses are given for the sound at the beginning of many episodes, but there are never any changes attempts at improving that I can tell (I have listened since the beginning). Overall the content is hit an miss. Worth having in my feed if something pops up, but always a let down when the sound is just awful. I don’t need professional quality, just something that doesn’t sound like it’s recorded by a tin can.
