I feel like if Chris Hardwick and I had grown up together, we’d be the best of friends. He seems so friendly and has so many interests in common with mine. All his guests and occasional co-hosts seem at ease because of his genuine interest and friendly attitude.
Lots of fun, interesting topics, and guests that suit my personality and style. Every once in a while, there are some topics I think won’t be interesting, but after listening, I get into it and have learned something lore about the world or myself.
I’ve been a listener since the early days at Nerdist and I’ll never stop listening. Many of the guests have podcasts that I’ve started listening to because of Chris and his podcast. I guess you could say ID10T is my gateway podcast of choice. Thanks for making a great thing!

Chris is a great interviewer and has guests on that are interesting and inspiring and aren’t doing every other podcast. He culls great stories. Some interviewers spend more time talking than they do listening to their guest - not Chris - his ego does not get in the way. Thank you Chris for your work - I’m especially grateful to have this during COVID!

Chris interviewing people regarding his own hobbies has helped me immensely with getting started on my dream home! Each episode gives me something personal to work on as well as ideas for turning a passion into a business. Great advice and great guests!

I can’t believe I didn’t discover Nerdist until 2015, when I spent 3 solid weeks packing a house for a quick move from Cali to Austin... and then on the 18 hour drive... and the move IN. I think that first month I listened to the first 200 episodes!
Now, 1036 (said as “ten thirty-six”, duh), my drives are complete only after geeking out with Chris and whomever is with him on ID10T GEEKING OUT about anything and everything!
My only 👎 is really just a 😢 and it’s clearly that I sincerely, wholeheartedly miss HOSTFULLS!

Used to love nerdist but this is not the same podcast no matter how much they try to sell you that it is. Matt and Jonah are nonexistent and the show lacks because of it. Plus it’s been super inconsistent.

This podcast is disappointing in so many ways. While Chris often gets great guests, he almost every time wastes his opportunities. It’s just armchair self help postulating. No depth, no grit, no challenging questions. Chris is afraid to touch on anything below the surface and as a result the podcast is simply boring. It’s not terrible, but it’s not good, it just ... is.
