I Hear Fear - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Wow. I have to say I’m very very picky with podcasts, and I usually don’t like them if they don’t have a full cast. But these are so fantastic even from the first person narrative, and only a few actors each episode. Amazingly written and performed! It’s been a while since I’ve heard such originally written stories based off legends and true crime cases.

The writing is strong and immersive. I got the impression that these stories weren’t meant to be the usual ‘creepy’ kind, but to imagine an everyday mundane activity turning really dark. Something about that is even more scary.

I heard about this podcast through another podcast and I’m obsesseddddd. So good and easy to get lost in the story. If you are a fan of short stories and spooky things look no further!

These stories are chilling, but in a psychological thriller sort of way. Each one is so unique and pulls you in. Carey Mulligan’s narration just adds the perfect ominous tone. I’m hoping there will be more tales to come.
