“Holding onto anger,” apocryphally said the Buddha, “is like grasping a burning coal intending to harm another with it; it is you who is burned.” There is nothing sweeter in podcasting right now than the smell of Will Weldon’s charred hand-flesh and that of his fabulous guests. This podcast is exactly what it says on the tin: Will is a brilliant and eloquent comedian, and he hates Bill Maher. This is one of my favorite new podcasts. Maybe it would be better for Will not to do this to himself, but we would be all the poorer for it. Bravo!

There is nothing funnier than a comedian ripping apart a bad comedian's material, especially if it's someone like Bill Maher, a TV personality who exhibits no known characteristics of a successful comedian and appears only tangentially interested in the material written for him. Will Weldon's podcast is a complete scouring of "Real Time" season one, with exacting detail on all of Maher's jokes and why they are all uniformly terrible. It's a cry of outrage directed at the smirking face of a person who's never suffered a day in his life, and I'm here for all of it. Hey, did you know Paul F. Tompkins was on "Real Time"?

Recently met Will through another podcast's (Never Seen It with Kyle Ayers) online game day and he was hilarious. Had to check this out afterwards and was not dissapointed. Never liked Bill Maher but now I hate him just as much. Even got one of my friends from work hooked in a day. Great stuff!
