I really enjoyed the dynamic of Matt and Jack hosting the podcast. It’s really interesting hearing the behind the scenes info we don’t know about as viewers, and the way they bleep out spoilers was hilarious. Excited for future episodes!!

I can’t even articulate how much I love this podcast. And I don’t listen to podcasts! I am almost as obsessed with this podcast as I was with the original show. I can’t wait every week for episodes to drop for the guys to go deep and breaking down the episodes and talking about their backgrounds and the cast, and just all the goodies that went into making this masterful show. I would give it 10 stars if I could ✨⭐️🌟🤩

I love a rewatch podcast, especially for HTGAWM which I watched religiously. Jack and Matt have a way of making it feel like you’re hanging out with friends. So excited to listen in!

With all of the rewatch podcasts popping up in recent years, I was THRILLED to see Jack’s Reddit posts teasing this podcast with Matthew.

Maybe it’s my ✨millennial✨ souls yearning for nostalgia, or my tendency to rewatch shows like HTGAWM and Sons of Anarchy in full at least once a year; the Sons rewatch podcast, This Is Us rewatch podcast, Laguna Beach, etc. have been so fun, and I’ve always loved knowing the behind the scenes aspects of how it all was made and filmed — it’s the film major in me. Did I do anything with my degree? No. Do I get to analyze and study and appreciate how movies and television shows are created? YES. 👏🏽

Oddly enough, I recently finished my rewatch of HTGAWM and thought, “God, I wish they would do a podcast like That Was Us,” because I’d been listening to their podcast weekly, and it’s so cool to hear how they did their show with all of the interwoven flash forwards and flashbacks, and hearing from the cast members and people involved with production. I imagined guest appearances from the Keating 5, Viola, Amira, Billy, Shonda, everyone — I thought, “how amazing would it be to hear from all of them what it was like to be on a show like this.” Next thing I know, I’m scouring Reddit for theory posts and general commentary. Several days later, Jack makes a post announcing the podcast. I asked the sky and very quickly received 😂

After listening to the available episodes, I’m so stoked to hear more and I’m eager for the guests they’ll be bringing on! It’s so nice to hear Jack and Matt’s familiar voices and hear them reminisce on a once in a lifetime experience, for a once in a lifetime show. 💕
