An excellent premise, exploring the often glossed over role of sexuality in history and culture and its ripple effects in the modern world. Learned a lot but also giggled a lot - what an enjoyable listen. Can’t wait for the rest of the season!

I wanted to express how much I enjoyed your podcast episode on Gad Beck, I learned a lot more detail on the subject given I’m supposed to be raising money for the movie.
In fact this whole podcast season has been really terrific. You have weaved great expertise and learnings into each episode and it really comes across. Mary & George Part II was also a standout as was the London episode.
Anyway you really upped the game with this years podcasts, good luck with the next set.

I loved the first handful of episodes, but this new one was almost unlistenable. Bash continues to be fantastic, but the addition of Lucy has ruined the energy of this podcast. Not because she’s a heterosexual woman, but her constant asides and interjections are distracting and take from the narrative as opposed to add to it. I’m hoping they can find another homo co-host.

Absolutely loved this show, but the new format with your sister has fundamentally worsened the show. We get so much less history, and so many more random interruptions and weird asides. The way she talks about queer stuff (and Native American topics in your recent episode) is also sometimes very cringe. It gives the same energy as the straight sorority girl who says "I'm practically a gay man in a girl's body." I'm sure she's lovely, but she's not a great co-host.
