High Strange - Podcast Rankings and reviews

The interviews are so highly edited it’s really hard to listen to. Every sentence is chopped and restitched you have no idea what the person actually said. I understand editing for time but this is extreme and really terrible and jarring. I’m not sure why they did it that way if it’s a stylistic choice it didn’t work at all. I hope this doesn’t become a trend.

Not a huge tinfoil hat UFO freak. However, this series kept me super engaged and intrigued. I felt like I was on a journey of discovery and open-mindedness throughout. This pod really challenges the listener to question things that the government says is “fact” because they have a history of covering up and recanting statements. Overall, a great experience and I thought it was gone too soon.

I’ve listened to a fair share of UFO/UAP podcasts over the past decade or so and this is, by far, one of, if not the best one out there.

Well organized; focused narration/storytelling and the topics are laid out clearly. The episodes have just enough depth to keep my ears & brain interested the whole runtime with little to no disengagement/tuning out.

All of the guests are amazing, the atmosphere is perfect, the audio/visual design/curation is unique & beautiful (songs, logo, color scheme, etc.), and all of the stories (even though I’ve heard them before in one way or another) are so compelling.

Payne’s such a good story-teller. The only downside is: we need more episodes!

Great work to Payne and the Tenderfoot team (shout out to Metro Boomin’ & Gunna for ‘Space Cadet’). I’m excited to see where things goes next!

Thoroughly enjoyed this pod, Payne and team! Would absolutely listen to a season two. I appreciated the balance it had. It was neither off the rails spewing theories left and right, nor was it close-minded shooting every witness account down. It was a healthy balance of skeptic and believer 🛸

I just listened to Season 1 Episode 2. Travis Walton. No information was provided nor explored with regard to details that offered another side of this story. The failed polygraphs, the friend who said it was all made up, etc…only. A statement such as none of the accounts made by those who witnessed the event were proven to be false. There is more to this story but not in this podcast episode
