Love the crew assembled for this podcast. The balance of hosts who are rereading these books along with one who is experiencing it for the first time is such a fantastic concept. I am reading this book series along with the podcast so as a first time reader I appreciate this approach. I don’t worry that I will get spoiled. Lots of recap podcasts end up spoiling things but not so on this show. The group is enthusiastic about the series and very entertaining. Such a great listen. My only suggestion- I would love to hear more about the pop culture Easter eggs that Dinniman peppers into every book. I was Googling a ton of references in the 3rd book.

This podcast has me listening to book two on audio while reading book three. The audiobook is so incredible and I’m glad the hosts took the time to praise the narrator’s skills. I’m squeezing every ounce of escapism out of this series and I’m so glad to get to listen to other people’s thoughts on it!

The hosts are witty, insightful, and do a great job hitting all the major points from each chapter. I especially appreciate that Martin consistently defends audiobooks For this series, I’ve been reading along in print while listening to the audiobook, since Jeff Hayes brings so much character and nuance that I feel like I’d miss some of the intent without him. "Bro!" The hosts’ enthusiasm for the series is infectious, and the class and race selection game was a super fun touch. Can’t wait for more!

Love to hear more about DCC. Good crew and fun to listen. I gave it the 5 stars but definitely some annoying little nit picky things. Two of them have listened multiple times and are supposedly rereading it now but miss little things such as saying multiple times that Carl was in the marines/navy but it was coast guard and it’s gossip girl not Gilmore girls lol. Maybe they should make notes or fix that kind of thing in editing but overall very good so far. Also they could delve into the emotional/deeper aspects of the book and not just go surface and laugh about everything.

If you have to preface with “it might be a spoiler but it’s not a big deal” then don’t say it. This is NOT a read along podcast because the hosts are always giving away slight spoilers and it is incredibly frustrating if you have not read the books.
