I love podcasts and have to listen to your commercials A LOT. I’m not gonna lie…it’s extremely daunting to hear you talk about diabetes 20 times a day. As a pre-diabetic person, it really isn’t interesting to hear that a lot of ppl have it and it’s preventable. WE KNOW. Pre-diabetic ppl aren’t stupid. We don’t need a double board certified doctor and a comedian earnestly explain that type 2 is EXTREMELY preventable to us on a short commercial break, and tbh having 2 thin ppl explain it feels pretty patronizing anyway. When I caved and decided to check out host socials to give them a chance, I noticed the posts related to the podcast were comments-off. Like who is this show even for then? This environment feels like a one-way finger wag that I can’t escape. If you read this, just pleeeeaaase lean into interesting health topics and try to shy away from putting your audience or potential audience in a constant doom state.
