Was looking forward to a new podcast from Jennifer and Sam, but this one falls flat (unless there’s a twist coming in the remaining episodes, but seems doubtful). Feels less like groundbreaking journalism and more like a review of publicly available, previously reported information. While I appreciate context is necessary to any well-reported story, I haven’t learned anything new, the history lessons about the Cuban missile crisis and US politics feel like filler, and the interviews with their sources feel repetitive.
