I really did enjoy the first season. The voice acting was excellent and the dialogue felt natural and humorous.
However, the second season was messy.
First off the format of the episodes was annoying. It goes like this: 2mins ads, 1 min opening song, 10ish minutes of actual story followed by 5 mins of talking about the podcast and… oh yeah, more ads.
Secondly, each episode kept jumping from character to character. Normally I don’t mind this format, but it was literally a new character every episode and I found myself losing interest in the main characters. Not sure if I’m up for a potential season 3.

Refreshing, love the humor and the characterizations, and always love some queer rep! <3 I can’t wait for the next season!

Zombie invasion, from the perspective of the zombies. Or one zombie. Genre-bending - queer, zombies, robots, mutants, interior monologue, post-apocalypse drama comedy, with strong female characters. Unique.

The series isn’t completed, but honestly the premise was fun and the characters gave a lot of life to the story. I would definitely give another listen just for the fun of it.

Great escapism at a moment where I need it most. Articulate, cheeky and dark. Afterlife doesn’t get much better.

Really amazing and novel story idea in season 1, but the acting is so over dramatic with truly terrible accents. Hannah is amazing, but all other voice actors ruin the story 😬
Story drops off after season 1. It’s like reading Tina’s diary from Bobs Burgers. And the voice acting is WAY worse, with far less Hannah.
I wanted to give it one star because I had to stop listening (season 2 is that bad), but like I said- the idea of Hannah is a truly amazing one.
