I love this podcast, partly because these are dedicated, knowledgable guitar nerds who talk about all the right things regarding guitars, pedals, and amps, of course, but also guitar minutiae, playing attitude, the general guitar universe (i.e., Gilmour's black start auction, etc.). They are also funny and well recorded, which is important when you're trying to remember all the differences betwee American and British English (Fevva = Feather) and some of the slight differences in slang terms (mucking with = trolling). My only fairly slight criticism is this: A whammy bar is a vibrato, not a tremolo. Vibrato describes a variation in pitch, temolo describes a variation in volume (such as on an amp or a pedal). So on the guitar, whether with the wang bar or your fretting hand, it's a vibrato, on the floor (amp, pedal) it's a tremolo. I must now delve into all the past episodes. Well done!

This is my favorite guitar related pod. This crew of fellas manages to balance fun, gear talk, and gear news. Keep it up!

The extraordinary collective knowledge of the hosts is astonishing. This is a content rich show. It is an added bonus that they are very entertaining. They are most like a family of angry chimps given just enough food to sustain them and subsequently prone to fighting amongst themselves for survival. I mean this in the nicest possible way.

This is a good show if you can get past the 20-30 minutes of gibberish at the beginning. Whatever the topic in the title, they don’t get to it until late in the show. These episodes could easily be cut down to half the time but I guess they need to fit in more ads to make money. If you don’t mind listening to useless banter between the guests you can take the whole show. For the rest of us, skip the first 30 minutes. I’ve also noticed a heavy concentration of topics on their sponsors.
