Give Me Away - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Give Me Away is a tremendous new work of cinematic Audio Fiction from Gideon Media. As he’s shown before with Steal the Stars and LifeAfter, Mac Rogers has an innate ability to explore complex science fiction concepts with incredibly accessible and well written characters. From a pacing perspective there’s a lot going on in the story, but it never feels like too much. I was fully invested before the end of the first episode. The quality of this Audio Drama is right up there with anything else being made today.

I could probably gush about this show for a long time because it is so amazing. Give Me Away is one of the most brilliant examples of audio story telling that I have ever heard. They embody the writer’s maxim “show not tell” to the core. I absolutely love how they almost trust the listener to put together the different pieces of the world because they don’t feed the listener excessive exposition. The narrative element is really strong, and I hope that we get to see more!

I love a good sci-fi audio drama and Give Me Away didn’t disappoint. Great sound quality and voice acting with a story that kept me intrigued. Hopefully there will be a season 2 because I’d love the chance to listen to more episodes.

A Gideon Media podcast is fantastic. Acting and production all top notch, compelling conundrums in the tradition of great sci-fi, a bingeable story. Can’t wait to see how it ends!
