Getting Hammered - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Scrolling these reviews and I saw a few complaints about the casual conversation that usually opens the show. What??? That is my favorite part!!! I feel like some officemates sat down for a morning coffee break just to chat about their lives. It is so calming. Vic is really funny, as is MK, but I think I love her parenting tips more than anything. We need a book!

As to their analysis of the news, I very much enjoy how upbeat they work to make almost every story, with some spicy sarcasm and humor mixed in. But they also work hard to lay out the facts, as well as the conflicting views, something you don’t get most other places. My ONLY complaint is that twice a week is not nearly enough.

This is my favorite podcast because of the hosts’ chemistry and good vibes all around. It’s incredibly smart and educational and covers serious news with an insider perspective and penchant for the positive. I love that Vic’s from NJ (I can relate) and hearing about MC’s family. I even enjoy the theme music - sets the tone.

Since discovering the gems known as MK and Vic a few months back, this has become the podcast I look forward to most every week! I have even gone back to the beginning to feed my addiction in the off days. They are just THAT good.

Too many political shows are designed to make your blood boil. This one provides good insight while also not trying to manufacture outrage.
