I was looking for a daily gaming news podcast that was informative as well as entertaining, and this hit the bullseye. I feel like I get an authentic perspective that’s knowledgeable and doesn’t feel influenced by big corp. this has become my trusted source for all gaming news

This new format is fantastic and a welcome addition to the daily video game news shows. Lots of great insight you don’t get on other daily news shows when they have a bad host. Always love to hear Grubbs POV and Jan has been a great cohost.

I love Jeff and Giant Bomb. This show is fine. Lately though, analysis has just been that CEOs are bad, AI is bad, Microsoft is bad. This may be true, but when every topic comes back to these points, the show gets tired fast, especially when the topic is irrelevant to these three things. I would prefer a more diverse rotation of guests instead of the same handful that just share Jeff’s opinion.

Since giant bomb went independent, the ads rack up - for casinos, scams, and other unethical businesses.

On top of this, the news analysis seems less deep than ever. “Gamers are dumb” and “CEO’s are dumb” seems to be the takeaway over and over again. I miss when Grubb talked more about the industry and motivations on a level that I would have never considered. He’s a smart guy but I feel like this show went on autopilot.
