Fun for All Ages with Frank Santopadre - Podcast Rankings and reviews

My five-star review is meant for the other weirdos like me: the unfailing credits readers; the scourers of thrift and junk stores for overlooked treasure; the endless internet rabbit-hole spelunkers who just wanted to watch a 70’s movie but then wondered what else Billy Green Bush was in; the eBay lurkers trying to complete their collection of Mattel ThingMaker molds (and maybe—just maybe!—find some still-flowing vintage Plastigoop along the way)…

I like seeing that there are members of the younger generations (which is getting to be well more than half the population, sigh) who seem to see the value in digging up the past, that there are shows and albums and performers that are worth remembering, even from the (gasp!) black-and-white days. I hope that open-minded few find their way to this podcast, in addition to the codgers such as myself. (I like to tell the young folk that I was born just before Woodstock… and then I explain what Woodstock was.)

Anyway, I’m looking forward to more! And if I may make a request: get Dave Attell back—I don’t know if he does a lot of podcasts, but his GGACP ep is one of my favorite re-listens!

I am so very happy that this intelligent pop culture podcast exists. Since Gilbert’s passing a true void has existed. If it can continue the tradition of getting chats with beloved stars of tv, movies and music who haven’t been heard from in many years, then this will absolutely be a must listen podcast.
