The host has a magnificent way of describing the surroundings so you barely notice that it’s all audio. It reminds me of another time when this was most folks’ only window to far off places.
The music is of course beautiful but I really appreciate the stories: whether it’s reminiscences of the early days on the folk scene with Richard Thompson or Maddy Prior, or the songwriting journey of Johnny Flynn (+Robert MacFarlane).
