I have been searching for a podcast like this for ages! I’m so glad one finally exists, thank you guys! I love diving deep into classic literature and there aren’t many ways to do that when you aren’t in school. I don’t mind spoilers for things like this, and I appreciate having some idea of what the story is before diving in, it honestly pushes me to read it even more. I like hearing your opinions on what is worth reading! Keep up the important work :)

I’m a tattoo artist, and I frequently listen to podcasts while I draw up designs for clients and prepare for my work week. This has very quickly become my favorite podcast, and it’s filling the niche in my listening habits that was left behind when IDEOTV stepped away. I’ve read many of the books being discussed, but I also have a few episodes I’m waiting to listen to until I read the book first (currently working my way through Wuthering Heights, and Beloved is up next). Side tangent, Drew roasting HPL was so cathartic to listen to - I immediately sent that episode to my partner. Thank you both for being here and being you.

I know that I have found my “it girl” of podcasts when I find myself giggling and kicking my feet over anything and everything you two say. I have since added everything to my TBR and am going to find myself on the path of re-listening every episode. This podcast is what I imagine the development of temperature regulation felt like—all of the sudden you wonder how life could have existed without such an amazing thing. Short story long, I love it here and I will not be leaving.
