In many immigrant communities, money is rarely talked about openly—we focus on survival, not strategy even though things are changing slowly .Years later, I found myself trying to play catch-up, and this podcast has become the guidance I never knew I needed. The episodes are packed with valuable insights, real-life stories, and incredible book recommendations that make finance feel more human and less intimidating. Highly recommended for anyone who didn’t grow up talking about money but wants to learn and grow now.

Doc G is the kind of doctor I wish everyone could have—thoughtful, curious, and genuinely interested in meeting you where you are. The variety of guests, topics, and in-depth discussions are impressive, and he has a unique ability to connect it all back to money and self-reflection.

Love this podcast because Doc G brings interesting guests and draws out helpful insights that shape my perspective on all things meaning and money. The after show comments provide additional layers as Doc exposes more nuggets of gold.

I have learned a lot from Jordan Grumet, MD. I love his perspective on money from the lens of a hospice doctor. His interviews are insightful because he allows guests to share their journey with money and investing. I started with his podcast and then read his book Taking Stock, which was a closer look at how we should live a meaningful life, making us think about what matters more than numbers and our portfolio. I appreciate how his podcast are engaging and shows his passion for storytelling.

I’ve been a longtime listener of this podcast, but the recent episode regarding the incoming president was disappointing. The discussion felt one-sided and more like a persuasive argument than an open debate, which contradicts the podcast’s stated mission.

As a result, I’ve decided to remove Jordan’s book from my library and recommendation list, and I’ve also unsubscribed from the podcast. While I respect the work being done, I can no longer support content that consistently aligns with only one perspective. I wish you continued success, but I hope for more balanced discussions in the future.
