The commentary and jokes are rich, never boring and very insightful when it comes to the content. Been following for a while, I’ll even listen to them covering shows I don’t watch because I appreciate the conversation/ between these two dudes.

Love the podcast but have you guys called the number(Murray’s number) that hopper yells out in one of the episodes. If you call 618-625-8313 it’s Murray’s recorded message and is very funny and may have a hopper tip!! Again love the podcast but def call for a fun surprise

I enjoy hearing both of your opinions on the characters, plot, etc. I think the podcast flows well and brings a lot of interesting theories up. People complaining about the explicit language need to get over it, plenty of podcaster drop f bombs and I don’t think it draws away from any of the content or quality. Overall great job guys, looking forward to season 4 podcasts!!

I actually really enjoy the explicit language. I feel like their opinions are more authentic and that it adds humor to the podcast. Nonetheless, I really like listening to this and it’s a podcast I can see myself recommending others to

Honestly I was late to the game with Dungeons & Demogorgons, having added it a while back but saved it for a companion podcast during my Stranger Things rewatch leading up to season 4.
It started off fine and well, if not somewhat monotone and disorganized at points.
I started to realize early on that, as pedantic as it may sound, the lack of attention to detail coming from the hosts was frustrating and annoying as it kept piling on and on. I can certainly understand some slip ups, but when they repeatedly get names wrong, or scenes mixed up, it just feels like they don’t care enough to put in the mild effort to get it correct. ESPECIALLY after years of watching a show and doing a podcast - I mean come on.
Then in later episodes, specifically this most recent season, it feels as if they go into every episode with the intention to just rip it apart and seek out all its flaws. Which I find appropriately ironic considering how many flaws they allow to go un-fact-checked at broadcast time. It’s like the mild fun they used to have and the enjoyment they were getting out of this has waned and I won’t be returning for any further listening. I would recommend Streaming Things podcast instead. ✌🏻

Ok, so originally I started listening in season 3, and I never minded the monotone or lack of enthusiasm delivery style. I actually appreciated their contrarian approach to the show because they held the writers accountable.
As I’ve listened through season 4, i can agree with other reviews that it does come off as if the hosts don’t “love” stranger things, not because of their speaking style though, but because of the lack of attention to detail to very basic things in the story, that would help contribute to their theories. A lot of this season was Aron summarizing and providing a half baked theory due to lack of details and absolutely no support from his cohost Jim, who literally just remains awkwardly silent with nothing to add, or says his favorite words this season “I don’t know”.
Jim, we know you don’t know, none of us do. We aren’t the writers, we’re here to hear you theorize and provoke thought, not nitpick apart the series without providing anything and saying you don’t know in response to everything Aron asks. The lack of attention to detail is pretty brutal…I would suggest better note taking for Season 5 & please Jim, remove “I don’t know” from your vocabulary during the show. The hosts enjoy Stranger Things, but I can see how it is hard to tell how much they actually care. Bald Move does a lot of different content though, so maybe they aren’t that focused on Stranger Things like other more dedicated podcasts. To quote Jim, “I don’t know”.
In Contrast, The “Streaming Things” Pod is AMAZING. It’s extremely entertaining and rewarding. The hosts sound like legit friends for years, easily make you feel like apart of the show, provide constant A+ comedy and they LOVE the show, so the attention to detail helps make the theories hold weight and connect to previous seasons. (It’s also why they get a lot of predictions right). Trust me, as a listener, I had no idea what I was missing out on until I heard “Streaming Things”.
Check it out. You won’t be disappointed
