I sometimes have to rewind to make sure I understand but I never yell at my phone while listening because they’re not afraid to ask the hard questions or live in the complexity that they illuminate for us. This is a podcast for those who wish to learn the backstories of major current news stories. It’s great to have a go-to podcast where one may learn from intelligent and articulate presenters, all of whom have done their homework!

Drop Site News is one of the few remaining media outlets that I trust and I don’t say this lightly. Living in America being subjected to an endless barrage of propaganda whether it’s Fox News or CNN or NYT makes a sane person question WTAF is going on. I’m grateful to Ryan, Jeremy and the whole Drop Site Team for their relentless efforts to bring us the most unadulterated and factual reporting.

The latest episode on Venezuela was another reminder of the dubious qualification of “think tank experts”.

Given Drop Site News’ own rigorous reporting, I couldn’t believe all the tropes of “authoritarianism”, “government corruption”, etc. with zero mentioning of U.S. sanction’s devastating effect on their economy which directly contributes to certain illegal activities; nor any push back from Murtaza. The nonchalant discussion of U.S.’s ongoing aim of regime change was also chilling. I’m not even going to point out all the half truth/lies spelled by the guest on the specifics of the discussed drug activities, which can be easily debunked by the latest reports from UN and U.S..

The Grayzone did a far better job with an experienced on-the-ground journalist/analyst, offering accurate, verifiable information rooted in historic events, including U.S. involvements. Mintpress too, is an excellent source for anyone who’s interested.

I’m a big fan of Drop Site News and their journalism. However, Murtaza’s choice of his guests often left me troubled.
