This is great! I'm a longtime fan of the films that Janina Ramirez has made for the BBC. I'm also a great fan of documentary pieces by Waldemar Januszczak, Alice Roberts, and Dan Snow ... and surprise! they—and many others—appear as guests on the podcast, in conversation about some of their favorite works of art. It really is conversational, too, which is splendid. Enthusiastic, but not the breathless, declamatory narrative style that's so often put on/required by TV work. Thoroughly enjoyable stuff. I look forward to each and every episode.

It's fun, it's fascinating, it's educational. Dr Janina Ramirez explores works of art with very knowledgeable guests. She and her guests discuss the works in context - history, science, meanings, symbolism. All in a completely approachable manner.

Dr Ramirez puts art in its political, cultual and social context with the help of experts in their fields. It is of a high scholarly standard at a level that doesn't exclude the layman who may have no historical background yet are interested in these works of art. The conversation between Dr Ramirez and the guest flows smoothly and it sounds like they are enjoying themselves discussing these subjects.
Dr Ramirez is clearly in her element and appears to have a very good and natural style of drawing out information from her guests with a balance between asking questions of them and letting them explain and reveal what they know about the subject.
