As a big fan of Downton, I was so excited to accidentally stumble upon this podcast. I love the interviews and insights from the actors. My one complaint, and this is the only reason this review is a 4 star, is that the episodes are too short. I feel as though the eps could easily be 45 minutes to an hour and no one, who is a true fan, would complain.

The first episodes have been enjoyable interviews with creator and cast, but it’s introduced as a re-watch, and it’s certainly not that (yet). Jacqueline Coley is a good host and interviewer, and it feels more pitched toward a US audience, which is fine for me as an American, but others might want to keep that in mind. When the recaps start, I’ll probably come back to review it again.

I absolutely loved reconnecting with the characters through the interview with Julian Fellowes. It took me back to the sadness I felt when the series ended but I did not expect to be revisited with the pure, deep emotion. I was not only surprised by the joy, but was utterly overwhelmed with the tears. Thank you for bringing this podcast to the dedicated fans.

Oh my goodness, I’m honestly hooked already. And I’m so jealous that I’m not the host! Haha! Such great interviews and in depth conversations. I can’t wait to hear more!

Do NOT listen if you’re new to the show! This should be labeled as a strictly re-watch podcast. There are spoilers throughout from the very beginning. I would have given it 5 stars, but I found out about someone dying in the first few minutes! Now that I’ve finished the show, this is a fantastic podcast with interviews of the cast & crew.
