My hobby is Thunder basketball. I try to watch and listen to any form of media I can connected to the Thunder. At this point, I’ve listened to almost every Thunder podcast and this is easily the best one out there. Andrew is the best and I love the variety of co-hosts and content within this podcast. My favorite ones are the Wednesday pods but any day there is a new DTD pod is a good day! Definitely give this a listen if you love the Thunder or are looking for solid basketball knowledge/talk in podcasting.

This is the best show about the thunder, “and it’s not particularly close.”No matter what kind of a sports show you like, this will have something for you.
If you like an analytical show, listen on Mondays . If you like a really zany show that goes off topic a lot but is a lot of fun, listen on Fridays. And if you like something in between, then listen on Wednesday. Eventually, you’re probably gonna like all three versions, but I would start with the style you prefer.

Down to Dunk is an indispensable resource for Thunder fans, particularly those of us who live far from OKC. Andrew Schlecht does a great job of looking at his favorite team with clear eyes. His Monday podcast with Michele Berra is a great x-and-o breakdown of Thunder performance - Miky is always delightful, and I admire his dedication following our squad from seven hours ahead of Central time. Alex Speers is hilarious on Wednesdays, and his and Andrew’s natural rapport makes for a highlight of each week’s podcast listening (see also: Saturday Slam & Jam). Then there’s Friday. It’s so far below the standard of Monday and Wednesday as to be a different show, and it’s awful. Taylor and Luke think they are funny. They aren’t. They know a little about their team, and next to nothing about the rest of the NBA. Their constant tangents and talking over any relevant basketball point make crystal clear that they think listeners are tuning in to hear high-school pals pretend they are still cutting up after class. It’s unlistenably bad. Jay attempts to take a more adult tone, but invariably folds and joins in the inanity. I’m always interested in Andrew’s take on the Thunder. I always stop listening to the Fripod by the time the idiotic Tayshawn segment begins. My advice: listen every Monday and Wednesday, and spend your time in any other fashion on Fridays.

One of the few podcast I listen to every episode to! Mondays: you get the quality insight from Michele; Wednesdays, you get passionate criticisms from Alex Speers; Fridays, you get da boiiiis! All while Andrew keeps it grounded and moving in the most fun way.
