Absolutely fantastic reformed theology in short, concise, well explained and approachable segments. DeYoung has a phenomenal ability to break down complex theological doctrines and questions into plain language, understandable, and enlightening! digestible components.

I’m not sure KDY has written or produced anything I haven’t loved. I’m a consistent listener to his LBE podcast. I love that there is depth to these episodes. For a lay person who loves theology, I am still challenged by these episode, yet they’re practically 20 min or less. I also have his new book “Daily Doctrines” on my list to get. I have heard good things!

I listen to this weekly podcast while reading the book. Very helpful. Highly recommended. I’m excited to start the second year of going through this book with Kevin DeYoung. I’m pleased he has decided to provide more fresh material for 2026 in the podcast!

Kevin DeYoung demonstrates how the consideration of theology is the surest way to quicken the soul. When in my weakness I forget the awesomeness of God, I turn again to this podcast and immediately realize my error.
