This podcast shook me. As a left-leaning cradle Catholic, from New England, I had always heard and admired those that stood up for what they knew was right and put their life on the line for it all. But to learn the details and fully understand what they all went through was at times overwhelming. I don’t think I ever sobbed as much at the end of a podcast as this one. Just phenomenal.

This is an outrageous story about people who lived their values. Set in the Vietnam anti-war movement years these social justice Catholics commit acts of righteous defiance, fighting against an unjust war . A fascinating story for everyone who remembers that divided and wild time. Expertly crafted storytelling. Highly recommended!

In an era of deep division, this expertly woven tale reminds us that we have an entire American history from which to draw inspiration from patriots who truly loved their neighbors and fought against the injustices foisted upon us by our very government. What a wonderful journey through a difficult chapter of American history, a vulnerable and touching view of the young protestors who refused to sit silent during the Vietnam, and a deeply human view of the people inside the Catholic Church in Boston. I looked forward to every episode and plan to share it.
