This podcast has thoroughly inspired me to revisit music I consumed years ago with a fresh perspective and appreciation. I will be listening to all 14 seasons with the hope that many more episodes come our way! Incredible work Cole!

Rather, we are taken on a journey where facts, history, music and interpretation come together in the best manner possible.

cole is a genius! his work is so incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and through provoking! i learned about this podcast when i heard about it on higher learning post kendrick lamar’s super bowl performance and have been hooked ever since - rapidly consuming this work! he has brought so much more depth to an artist that i already loved to help me gain such a deeper appreciation for him. cole has learned a lifetime listener in me.
