This podcast is in so well researched, and the story telling is on point. I love that there is plenty of facts with each story but not too much extra gab added in. Easy listening while housecleaning!

I’ve been listening through this show, and I really enjoy it, but I was disturbed by the preview for “The Mississippi Murder” at the end of the second Malcom X episode. Every sentence puts the blame on Emmett, an innocent kid who MIGHT have whistled at a woman or might’ve just been whistling (according to his cousin, I believe). It doesn’t matter what Emmett knew or didn’t know about the segregated south, it matters that adult white men told themselves that a Black boy who didn’t cowrie to them was a threat. Emmett did not make a “choice” that doomed him; he existed while Black.

I love this show & I’m so glad it’s on iTunes now!! The sound of her voice is perfect, the stories are riveting, & well researched/presented. Do yourself a favor & get on it.
I’m very disappointed that they don’t make episodes anymore though. If anyone from Parcast is reading this please make more.

Just listened to both Ted Bundy stories and I was disappointed for a few reasons. I listened for “death bed confessions”! What we got instead was an inconsistent story of Bundy life filled with incorrect facts and fabrication. You touched on a couple well known cases but I thought I’d at least hear something new.
I’ll try one more episode and keep an open mind
