I started listening a few months after the premiere episode, and let me tell you, I have never genuinely laughed out loud like I have when listening to a podcast as I have listening to Dear Shandy. I love Sharleen’s laugh and Andy’s sense of humor. I also find myself agreeing with Andy the majority of the time, though I still respect Sharleen’s take on things. I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs over the past few years, and listening to this show through some sad and dark times made me smile and laugh so much. Please don’t change or ever feel pressured to change the approach to the show. It’s perfect. Some people get miffed and offended over the stupidest stuff, I swear. Also, the Q&A episodes are my favorite! I do try to listen to most every episode, including recaps (even sometimes not having watching the original material—just the recaps because Sharleen and Andy are so entertaining), but I will drop everything to hear a Q&A ep.

As a long-time Shandy (from all the way back to when Sharleen had “All the Pretty Pandas” column that I read religiously), I absolutely love this podcast! Their Bachelor/ette recaps are always funny, insightful, and entertaining, and they make my long commute to work so much better.

I really enjoy their podcast each week and really look forward to listening in. They have a very down to earth vibe with great insights and positive energy in each episode. Always funny and engaging content without being over the top. They are the kind of people I want to get relationship advice from since theirs seems so great in a very authentic way.

It’s like hanging out with the people you instantly felt like you’ve known forever the first time you met them. Empathetic, funny, insightful, charming. I’ve watched shows for the sole reason of enjoying hearing Sharleen and Andy discuss them.

I wanted to find a new Bach podcast, but this one is unlistenable between the woman performatively cackling at her husband’s extremely unfunny “jokes”, the random singing, the condescension, and the endless ads. Keep looking!
