This podcast sounds like i'm listening to my informative auntie! You sound and look like all the beautiful women i grew up around and This podcast is giving me so much insight about what it might be like or the things you need to consider when becoming a parent. I have a lot of fears related to parents specifically because i’m black, a woman, and queer. Also have a partner who identifies the exact same and going into this parenting space can seem very nerve wrecking already as a black woman, Let alone being a LGBTQ+ family as well. This podcast gives me so much to look forward to if we decide to have kids, and the precautions to take as well.

This podcast is EVERYTHING. Not only does it open the door to help you to be the best birth worker, doula, parent, friend, but most importantly the best YOU, you can be.
It inspires. I’ve cried on almost all the episodes, so validating.
Brandi makes me feel her warmth through her stores and words along with feeling like I’m out to coffee with one of my girls.
We need all of us doing the work we are meant to be doing and this show helps to encourage that.

I’m two episodes in and can tell you that I’ve honestly never felt so connected listening to someone else speak about their experiences. I don’t share any of those experiences-this connection has nothing to do with this shared pathways or similar life circumstances, but is about Brandi‘s way of bringing connection to her listeners through her commitment to do better as a parent. It is truly inspiring- and I feel like I can do it too- it’s not too late to make changes and do better.

As a guy who’s completely fascinated with my Wifes pregnancy and the cosmos of everything that is coming with it, I have been listening and searching through a multitude of podcasts to listen to on my commutes and down time. I’ve found some great ones but this is by far my favorite!

The pace and tone you speak with is so easy to stay engaged with ( adult living with ADHD ) which is huuuuuge for me because I love learning but it’s difficult to remain in one space at times.

You’re so informative and have a confidence in your speech which makes me feel like I can also begin this journey with patience and a solid background of understanding.
