I came to age in the 80’s, in the middle of the country with skaters and bmx bikers.(Think “all posers must die”)It was metal or punk. The world wasn’t built for a female who weighed 100 lbs soaking wet, but there I was- in the pit with my brothers in metal. In those days, we scoured record stores, coffee shops, malls, even the gay bars for the weird people. Next thing I knew I would be drinking Milaukee’s Best under a bridge hearing about Marc Bolan or Warren Zevon or some other mind blowing artist. That is what this podcast is. The world doesn’t allow us to meet people this way anymore and that is why Dean Delray is so important. Great comic, infectious positive attitude-but most importantly -it’s like those shows where you met someone who wasn’t a square and you discover all new kinds of art, music,books and movies…thank you for the comedy and the amazing treasures you unearth and share with us all. This is what gets me through a commute after a 12 hr shift. Love it! Candles lit.
